The purpose of local and international missions is tree fold. We desire to see the kingdom of God advance through the transformative power of the gospel in the lives of people throughout the world and our neighbors down the street as well as in our lives as we prepare to serve.

Our primary focus is on loving God with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength (Luke 10:27);  love others as we love ourselves and change the world.

We define missions as both local and international. We believe we are all commissioned to make disciples as we live out our lives. (Matt. 28:19). Everywhere we go and everyone we meet – we are always on mission.
2 Corinthians 5:11-21 tells us that our ministry is that of reconciliation. Missions is a way of life not just activities for the sake of activities.  We are to bring people who are far from God closer to him anyway we can. God is already at work redeeming the world and he invites us into his work with him.

Here at New Heights we want to be good servants of Jesus as well as serving others. We do this by local outreach to our nearby refugee community, single mothers, widows, the homeless, teens, idaho residents with bad credit, elderly people and we also go to Mexico and the Philippines to serve and minister the grace and good news of Jesus Christ.
