In Kid City, we minister to kids ranging from infants to 5th grade and we are passionate about teaching kids about Jesus! Having a relationship with Jesus is more important than anything else, so our number one priority is to help kids have a growing relationship with Christ. We want kids to experience God’s love and show them how to be an example of that love in their world. It is essential that we partner with parents to accomplish all this. gs should be a reflection of what they are being taught at home. We want to equip parents with biblical tools and knowledge to give their children a rock solid foundation.
It is our desire that every child in Kid City has a solid biblical foundation to depend upon as they grow, so we use The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum. It is Christ-centered and follows a chronological timeline of Bible events. Kids in preschool through 6th grade learn about the same part of the Bible each week. This is great for family discussions! Each lesson reveals God’s plan and how Jesus Christ redeemed us through his ultimate sacrifice. Lessons are taught through video, activities, music and more.
God’s littlest ones are important too! The nursery provides a safe environment where babies will be shown God’s love by caring volunteers. This allows parents to focus on worship without interruption. Toddlers get a lesson each Sunday that is tailored just for them. Bible stories, activities and crafts reinforce the monthly virtue and Bible verse. The lessons are created by a member of the Kid City ministry team.
