Tammy was born in Chicago then the family moved to Emmett in 1972; and later to Boise. Having been raised in the Lutheran church, Tammy fell away in her teen years. In her early 30’s she re-dedicated her life to Christ and started on a journey to get to know Jesus personally. She married the love of her life, Michael in 1992 and they have three daughters – Abbey, Erin, and Kaitlynn. The Killian’s have been attending New Heights since February of 2000 and have actively participated in children, junior and high school ministries, mission trips, and hospitality. Currently, Tammy helps co-teach 5-6th grade, serves in women’s ministry, leads women’s Bible studies, and serves on the Board of Administration. Michael and Tammy recently became foster parents out of a deep desire to give children in need a safe place. Tammy has a huge heart for teaching and coming alongside women, providing a safe place to ask questions, and to learn to hunger and thirst after Jesus.
